IKAWA is a Montréal-based coffee company dedicated to sharing the exceptional coffees of Rwanda.

Founded by a Rwandan family who settled in Canada in 2000, IKAWA was born from a desire to reconnect with the traditions and landscapes where some of the world’s most remarkable coffees are grown. In Rwanda, coffee has long been a symbol of hospitality — something offered to welcome guests, spark conversation, and bring people together.

Rwanda’s high-altitude hills, rich soils, and meticulous washing processes produce coffees celebrated for their clarity, balance, and vibrant character. At IKAWA, we carefully select coffees that express these qualities, working with producers whose craft and dedication shape every harvest.
